[My description and initial thoughts - May contain spoilers]

Mask de Smith wears the mask of a luchador (masked wrestler), and is raw manpower - a walking tank, pretty much! He wields 2 grenade guns, which deal a shitload of damage. Mask seems to be somewhat down-to earth, and also has a soft side and at times is compassionate to the point where you wouldn't think he's an assassin. Regardless, he's a force to be reckoned with, especially when he charges his guns. I don't know much about Mask, except that he used to be a well-liked and known luchador who suddenly disappeared. A small amount of information is revealed in the pigeon letters throughout the game, though it's not a lot.

When you first start off with Mask, his firing and reload speeds are really slow. Because of that, I didn't use him to fight 'til I leveled him up to at least level 2 in speed and power. He gets a gun upgrade later on in the game, and also gets costume upgrades. With these upgrades, he becomes faster than before and no longer needs to reload (before his gun upgrade, you have to reload after each shot). His firepower as well as manpower come in handy in certain parts of the game, whether it be breaking a huge rock, moving planks of wood or even pulling a huge truck - to blowing up walls and Protector Z and ZZ Smiles.

To be honest, I didn't really use Mask except when I had to. This was mostly due to the fact that he was pretty under leveled, as I mainly focused on getting Dan to Level 5. However, he's the best persona for taking out the Backward Smiles, which he obliterates in about 2 shots. Also, he's the only one who can take out the Protector Smiles (any form of), with his charged shots. He's fun to use, especially if you like to blast things to bits :p He kills most Heaven Smiles in one shot, though most of the time this results in getting no thick blood from the fallen enemy.

Mask transforms and gains more levels for his charge shot after the battle with the Handsome Men in the Alter-Ego scenario. His level 5 charge shot catchphrase is "They know who's the strongest", followed by a powerful blast.
