These rooms are located around the area in every stage, where you can access the TV to change, save, upgrade and wake up personalities. However, not every room has a save spot - you can tell if it's a room that's a save spot when Samantha is wearing her maid outfit. Otherwise she'll be in casual wear in the non-savable rooms, but you can still access the TV to upgrade.

All 7 Smith personalities are selectable to use from the get go. However, you can only have either the 6 personae or just Garcian; In other words, Garcian isn't available to select from the menu if the other 6 personae have been selected to use already. Note that Garcian can only be selected at the TV.

Iwazaru is in all the Harman's rooms throughout the game. He's there to provide help and give explanations - whether it be on how to use special abilities, information about the game controls, enemies, items, etc.

» Awakening a persona

At the start of each scenario/stage, there'll always be at least 2 (sometimes more) of them 'sleeping' or inactive. Don't panic, as they can be awakened at the TV. Before they can be awakened though, a certain number of enemies need to be defeated. Alternatively, they will become active themselves after a certain amount of time and a number of enemies have been killed.

» Reviving a fallen persona

If a persona has perished, only Garcian can revive them. Before they can be revived, you must use Garcian and go to the spot where the persona perished, to get their head which Garcian will place in his case. Then, at the TV you can revive them by rapidly pressing the X button (PS2), until their life bar reaches the max.

Since Garcian's attack power isn't all that great, extra caution must be taken when using him to get to the area where the fallen persona is. If Garcian dies on the way, it's game over. Once you reach the spot where the persona had been killed, you'll end up back at the TV screen right away, with the option to revive them. Once revived, you'll continue from the last place you saved.
